Avocado oil mud – 7th heaven

It’s Post Halloween weekend and my skin is in need of tlc due to alcohol ruining my skin and the OTT Halloween make up drying my skin out.

This week I am trying another 7th heaven brand mask. This mask contains avocado, Aloe Vera and walnut in. The aim is to exfoliate and moisture’s your skin.

How to apply

1. Cleanse your face

2. Apply

3. 15-20 mins relax time

4. Rinse off

First impressions of the mask, is that the smell of avocado is very strong. The overall smell of the mask is, an earth smell. Applying is really simple and isn’t messy at all. I love the fact that the mask has beads in it, which exfoliates your skin as you apply it.

I left the mask on for 25 mins, this as enough time for it to fully dry. Again nice and simple to come off, I used a flannel and it took three mins to take it off. I felt like I was exfoliating my skin.

My skin feels fresh, and defiantly feels exfoliated. I love the fact it was easy to apply and easy to take off. I wasn’t a fan off the smell, even though I love avocado! Strange!

I give this mask 4/5!

Have you tried any other 7th heaven masks? What’s your favourite mask? I would love to hear from you!

I want to change me

There is so much debate everyday… are magazines influencing girls and women on how their bodies should look? Does celebrity body shaming force us to want cosmetic surgery.

I think yes to a degree. However everyone has their own mind and can handle the situation differently.

For me, I have always had worries my nose is to wide? My top lip is too thin? My hair doesn’t grow? My eyebrows are patchy? And my skin is awful.

These are not influenced by magazines or social media. They are all things I see in the mirror when I look in the mirror.

Initially I wanted to change all of these things but eventually I have up on the idea….

Until this year… it all started when I decided to have my eye brows microbladed. This is a semi permanent tattoo, on the eye brow done in small flicks to look like natural hair. It cost £150 for stage one, 6-8 weeks recovery and then another £75. The reason I wanted this was because I shaved my eyebrows off when I was 13… little miss rookie thought she could make her brows thinner with a razor! I have a blog post coming soon about my micro blading!!

Since having this, I feel so much better! I don’t apply make up to my brow everyday and I feel so fresh!

This little thing has made me feel better about my face and more confident.

Now it has me thinking what next!

Next year I plan to have my teeth professionally whitened in a salon, as I’m conscious about my smile. I also plan to either have microblading lip Liner to define my top lip or lip filer. I also plan to visit a dermatologist, to start a plan of treatment for my skin.

I know this is a lot of change, but I have suddenly thought if it’s going to make me happier and make me confident then why the hell not.

I have always been in the frame of the mind that you should never change you. And I stick by that don’t change your personality for anyone. You are beautiful. And don’t change your looks for anyone ( my boyf hates the idea of me wanting all of this done) BUT.. if it’s going to make you feel happier and make your mind clearer then you should do what you want.

My top tips would be to check out the places you are visiting, reviews and before and after photos. Anything important like this needs to be super checked out and sometimes it’s better to pay more money then less.

What do you guys think??? I would love to know your thoughts on this as I understand it’s controversial ( I hope I haven’t offended anyone)

Super drug – Seaweed Peel of Mask

This week I am trying Super Drugs own brand masks. I decided to try the seaweed peel of mask.

This mask is said to cleanse and detox the skin. It is well known that seaweed is very beneficial for the skin. I also haven’t used a peel off mask in a while and I always feel nice and refreshed after using them.

This mask doesn’t smell as strong as some of the masks I have recently been using. It was really difficult to apply because it is super thick! If anyone has used the charcoal black head masks, it’s a similar constituency of that.

Once you work out a technique to put it on it’s easy after that. I use all of the contents and applied a

medium layer across my face.

It says it take 10-20 mins to dry. It took 20 – 25 mins to fully dry. Some parts didn’t dry properly, I feel they may have been areas where I over applied. It was really easy to take off, peeled straight off. Unlike the charcoal masks, it didn’t hurt or leave my face red raw. Instead it left me feeling cleansed and slightly moisturised as well.

I spent the remainder of my day with no make up on and two of my aggravated spots had noticeably become less red and had decreased in size.

I would give this mask a 4/5!

Have you used any of super drugs own branded face masks? I would love you to comment below! 👀

Positive changes, to help the world 🌎

I’m always thinking of little way, to make a big difference to other people life’s. It’s a good feeling helping other people, and I’m sure it’s amazing for other people to be on the receiving end!

Coffee stamp cards ☕️☕️☕️

all love a coffee stamp card, 9 coffees later and you can finally have a free one! What a great achievement! It's feels amazing right getting something for nothing! Imagine how amazing it would be to give you free coffee to someone who is homeless, who is freezing from sleeping on the road. Why not give it to someone, who has nothing? You will honestly feel ten times more amazing!

Food Banks🍪🍩🍧🍡🍲🌮🥘

to your local food bank is a great way to help your local community. There are many ways you can donate, you can donate food that you have in your cupboards. Let’s face it, most of us have tins in our cupboards that have been there FOREVER! Pop them in a bag and drop them to your local food bank.

Buy one get one free⭐️⭐️

•We al
a buy one get one free! Even if we went for one item, it’s great because we can use the other item when the first one runs out. However, you could always donate to your local food bank or to a hopeless person. They will
preciate it!

Clothes clear out👚👕👖👔👘

  • Why not sort thought your clothes to declutter your bedroom! Clothes can be donated to local charity shops or again for the homeless. Every time I have a clear out, I donate to different charity shops as I can never decide on which charity is best

Hobbies to fundraising📚⚽️🏒🤼‍♂️

  • Fundraising doesn’t have to be difficult, in fact it can be fun! I once did a read-a-thon, I read six books in a week and raise over £100 for charity! I had the best week of reading and I did it for a great cause. That can be the same with anything from baking to jogging, there’s always room for something.

McDonald’s stickers 🤶🏼

  • Every year McDonald’s do monopoly give aways sometimes you win big and sometimes you won food or drink prizes. For the last couple of years, when I have one a meal prize I have given it to a homeless person. Each time they have been so grateful and commented on how thoughtful I was. Defiantly made me feel good.

  • The Elderly can get really lonely and look forward to social interaction. There are a few ways in which you can help. There is a charity called St Vincent to Paul, which is charity which involves volunteers visiting elderly people or helping them with small chores like their food shop! There is a club in Brighton called the casserole club. This charity pairs you up with someone Elderly in your area and you can choose to drop them dinner or have dinner with them. I know a few people that are involved with these charity’s and they say that it is so rewarding.

7th Heaven Dead Sea Mud Pac 💋

I have recently heard great thing about 7th heaven masks recently.

From friends and reviews by fellow bloggers. I decided to give the brand ago and purchased the Dead Sea Mud Pac.

I picked this one as it is said to prevent an oily T Zone, take away dead skin, open pores and to distress. Which all of above is on my to do list, so this defiantly sounded like the best one for me.

As it’s changing from summer to Autumn, this is always the time when my skin takes the effects. My combination skin is currently at its worse and I have to master it now before winter time.

How to apply

  • Cleanse face
  • Apple mask onto wet face
  • Leave for 10-15 mins
  • Wash off
    • Opening the mask, you get an immediate waft of the fragrance. I’m sure what it supposed to smell like but to me it smells like fresh washing powder and I love how clean it smells!! 😍

Really easy to put on and take off! Takes around 18-20 mins to fully dry, I would say.

My skin has been great for the next five days, my black heads have gone down and my skin is least oily but feels really moisturised! I love this one and I would rate it 4/5.

Let me know how you get on!!

      Halloween Make up From Revolution

It’s still early October but I’m already excited for Halloween. I have no idea what I’m dressing up as but I’ve watched plenty of YouTube make up tutorials.

I was inspired by Tammy on Make up Revolution YouTube channel. She used the SFX beauty Pallet, liquid latex, fake blood and dark lipstick. I actually ordered everything she used in the videos!

For this blog I wanted to share with you, my first attempt at using liquid latex, using the layering technique ( with tissue) and fake blood.

      How to do it

      1. Apply liquid latex to the skin
      2. Separate tissue, to small thin layers and stick or piece over liquid latex
      3. Apply liquid latex over tissue
      4. Repeat process like 4-6 times
      5. Cut a hole in the “fake wound”
      6. Wait to dry and pour fake blood in

      How I found it

I actually was impressed at how easy it was to do. It was pretty messy and even after I cleaned the bathroom, I kept spotting fake blood. I think it would be best to practice before doing the real deal, as I learnt that using small bits of tissue and building it up is really key.

      Will I use it again

Defo! Can’t wait to use it for Halloween? Just need some outfit suggestions??? Let me know if you have any ideas???

Garnier – Matcha Tea & Clay

For today’s mask Monday, I am using Matcha Tea and clay mas by Garnier Skin Active brand.

This mask of for combination to oily skin is said to purify and give you fresh mattified and clean skin.

This week my skins in major need of TLC, I think the junk food has caught up with my skin and given me some big spots ( Sorry skin)

This mask is a great texture, really easy to apply! I love the smell of the mask too as it remind me off a tea tree mask but not as strong smell.

like most masks some areas dry quicker then other and even though it said 10 mins.. it was probably 12 mins until it was fully dry.

Getting it off was a little harder then putting it on. Some bits really clung to my skin and I used my beauty scrubber to remove it fully.

My skin felt super refreshed after and it felt really really clean.

Within a couple of days, my bigger spots started to dry a little ( and shrink) but the rest of my skin remained feeling fresh and moisturised!

I would defiantly recommend this one for when you are in need of a skin boost!

Would love to know if you have tried any similar masks?
