๐Ÿ‚October Goals๐Ÿ‚

1. Gym 3x a week – I have been slacking on the gym. I am however joining a new gym, and I’m excited for its convenience, and my friends also goes to this gym.

2. Eat Healthy – I always struggle this time of year as I just want hot food! I’m going to focus on yummy warm soups for lunch.

3. Get organised at work – I want to get organised in my new job. I need a pencil case and folders.

4. Only drink twice – This is for fitness reasons and for productive reasons. I would like to have some productive and fun weekends.

5. Do a October photo shoot! – I wanna get my DSLR out to take some Autumn photos leaves, pumpkins, hot drinks you name it.

How I’ve lost 11 pounds in 4 weeksย 

Yay for my weight loss! And I can already see a difference! Although granted weight loss is not just about losing the pounds it’s also about loss of inches, because when you gym you also gain muscle which actually make you weigh more. Lucky for me I’ve lost inches on my stomach, arms, legs, knees and chest.

Food 

My personal trainer has helped me with a good plan. Limiting carbs is key and actually it’s a lots easier then I thought it would be. Maximising protien and vegetables. Fruit is good but to much has high suger. My example food diary would be as such: 

Breakfast

Veg and fruit smoothie – my fave is spinach, apple, banana, spinuala, whey dress 

Lunch 

Scrambled egg, two eggs no bread or salmon and pease 

Dinner

Egg, chorizo and tomato or chicken and veg

Eating restaurants was always my diet errors but now I’ve learnt to replace chips for vegetables or salad. I had steak the other day and replaced chips with more pees and mushrooms. 


Fitness

I’m very good at moviracing myself to go to the gym for two weeks and then I usually get bored. I have now learnt that mixing it up keeps it exciting. My week to week Fitness will include one gym session, one fitness class and one swimming session. I try and add atleast one extra fitness thing a week, I usually like to have another gym session. This keeps it fun and excersizes different muscle groups. I am also seeing my personal trainer once every two weeks and she either does a hardcore cardio or strength session 


Mind 

A lot of fitness is to do with mind. Avoiding drunken nights out is inportant for a clear mind set. Plus a night out makes you out on 3-4 pounds ah! I try to only drink twice a month as rule, granted I do not always stick to this but I do try. Setting out time for myself is key, because you need time to refuel. Take a bath, read a book have a green tea. 

I’m hoping to loose more weight as I have a wedding to attend in 6 weeks. I’m seeing my personal trainer next week and I am ready to up my plan! 


I would love to know, of anyone has further tips on weight loss? 

Shineย 

Today’s daily promt is the word shine. Whilst, to me the word shine may be positive to other it may not. 

Some people may struggle to shine, or they my feel of they shine as much as they want to they may be judged my others. 

The words shine, is to show everything, to beam and give it your all. To make a door handle shiny, you have to add polish and give it a load of elbow grease.

For us to personally shine to out full potential. We have to strip back to basics and give it everything we have. 

In order to shine at work, you have to break the job down in to smaller bites and master each individual part, so that the total part shines. 

To be best we can be as a person, we have to get rid of any fake aspects on the surface and work hard with what we have naturally. 

Why do we want to shine? Because the heart automatically loves shiny things. It’s get all of our senses excited, to our eyes eye candy and to our brains a puzzle of why it is shiny. 

Mid week day offย 

Once every two week I get a day off in the week. Last year, I would always have Tuesday’s off, as I used to go out Monday night.

 This year I’ve been trying different days, and this week I had Wednesday off. 

I began my day with a healthy breakfast of Avacado, Egg, grilled bacon and a sprinkle of Chili. This is from my Lean in 15 recipe book. 

  

After this, I visited the gym in Hove.

On Monday I focused on my legs, this time I focused on my arms.

I still did a 10 min work out on the cross trainer to warm up. I did various arm excersizes and then warmed down after squats and sit-ups. 

I showered at the gym and then got ready, to drive up to the race course to have lunch with a good friend of mine. It was a tad expensive there, ยฃ2 for a bottle of water.

  
I decided after to suprise visit my mum at her office. Which she was pleased about, especially as she needed a lift home. 

Once I arrived home, I couldn’t stand being stuck in as it was a sunny day. I arranged to pick two of my friends up so we could sit in a beer garden ( so I could drink sparkling water) 

   
 

Troughs out this day I wore plain black jeans, with my grey Tshirt from Matalan that’s says “on wednesday we wear what we want” ( pis stake of mean girls film) 

My day wasn’t very productive but was satisfying catching up with friends.
