A film about the man who invented the circus. A creative man with hopes and dreams. It sounds like it could be pretty cheesy right? And trust me I’m that friend that moans when the girls want to watch a soppy lovey cringey film. But this was something else, I would almost be extra cringey and say it was magical.
It is like nothing else I’ve ever seen before amazing actors, a different story line and the most beautiful songs.
I fell in-love with Zac Efron all over again, I felt like I was watching an adult version of high school musical. I thought any song he sings would be my favourite but Never enough by Loren Allred really did give my goose bumps.
Although the film was completely irrelevant to real life scenario’s I found myself relating the songs and films to my own life choice. The characters in the film each had strong personalities and you fell in love with each character individually.
I found myself driving home singing the playlist. Two weeks later and I’m still singing them in the shower.
Brilliant timing releasing this film just before all the film award programmes are on TV. Watching this space as I’m sure this film will win lots of awards.
Oh if you haven’t watched this film, I suggest you get in your car and go watch it now.
I am loving the body shop at the moment. I wanted to share with you guys a few of my favourite products.
The Body shop – Frosted berries
This smells like Christmas, feels like Christmas and loves my skin like a Christmas present. As I suffer from skin problems, I have to used sensitive products. This is super gentle ok my skin feels lush to rub in. I rub this on my shoulder, legs and sometimes my arms. And sometimes on my bum cheeks!
Body shop – The oil of life
This is one for your face and actually since I’ve used this people have asked if I have changed foundation because my complexion is glowing. But it’s all down to this. Whole winter is trying to dull my skin this hero is brightening my skin and making it feel very healthy
Body shop – Lip smack
Great lip balm, very good value for money, I put this on every night before bed and every morning and my lips are feeling great. I haven’t had any chapped lips and I feel they are more healthier then usual
The body shop – Tea Tree Range
There are two products I use from this range. The tea tree cleanser which I use one a day switching it up between morning and evening face wash. It smells Devine and really makes me skin feel fresh. I also use the tea tree clay mask once a week and this really is a treat for my skin. It reduced the redness in my skin and also hydrates my skin.
Lastly, I use the facial exfoliator pads from the body shop. I use these twice a week and it takes of all the scabs and dead skin and leaves my skin feeling fresh!!
I hope you liked this review and I would love to know what products you guys are trying!?
This week I am testing out Charcoal mud by 7th heaven. I haven’t seen this one before which is surprising because Charcoal is all the range at the moment you can use it for your skin and for your teeth as well.
I was interested in this mask because it mentions that it’s for oily and combination skin which is 100% my skin. After Christmas my skin has been disliking me I guess because all the bad eating and drinking has taken a toll on my skin!
This charcoal mask is said to detox away oils and impurities. I’m hoping this is the SOS my skin needs.
How to apply
- Cleanse face
- Apply mask
- Leave for 15 mins
- Wash off
Today I have cleaned with my body shop facial wash ( my favourite product at the moment ) and also uses my facial exfoliating pads also from body shop to prep my skin. Without drying my skin, I apply the mask straight onto my face using a face mask applicator. I’m loving the smell of my mask, it smells like a basic mud mask but with a kind of minty smell!
I would say that it took around 15 mins to dry. It dried kind of flakey, but was super easy to remove.
Due to the mask drying so tight to me skin, it left my skin feel really refreshed and clean. My skin felt lovely all evening and I even woke to feeling fresh.
I really recommend this mask! It’s defiantly the skin boost I needed and I have less redness on my skin this morning.

If you are reading this congratulations on Surviving 2017.
You did it. We did it. For some it was easy to complete for others it was difficult.
For me I expected it to be the best year of my life as it began with a three month trip to Thailand. I was finally going traveling.
Unfortunately my trip was cut short, when my auntie passed away and came back to be here with my family. It was the first time someone close passed away and I thought I would be emotionally stronger but it honestly broke me.
Shortly after lots of things started to go wrong, my boyfriend has had two operations and been of work for almost 4 months now. He also had family members pass away.
Although this year hasn’t been the best I always like to take the positives out if it. I got a higher job position I’m now a valuations manager for an estate agent. I’ve found my passion for organising myself ( can’t wait to start using my new Filofax in 2018) I got my eyebrows microbladed and I love them!
Whatever happened in 2017… tomorrow is s blank page of a 365 page book. Forget the negatives, only take away positive learning from them. Focus on what you are good at and make it better. I have no idea what 2018 has stored for me. I feel there are a lot of changes happening for me. I know whatever happens I have the best support network, and my auntie will be watching over me and guiding me.
My only resolution is for this time next year to not feel like I hated the year and that I can’t wait for a new one. I want to have no regrets.
Happy new year everyone.
Again, I’m sorry for the gap between my posts I’ve been a very busy bee and there is a whole post about it on my page if you are interested.
I’m back and my skin is need a good treat. I have invested in a head band and face mask application brush. I order this from amazon for £5.99!
This week I am using a cucumber peel off face mask by 7th Heaven ( who I am lovinggg if you haven’t noticed)
- Cleanse face
- Apply to face
- Leave for 25 mins
- Peel off
- Rinse face
Today in my super quick video you will notice I have cleaned my face with the body shop tea tree oil face wash which I am really digging right now.
I then pop on my head band and apply the face mask with the application brush. It is soooooo easy to apply with the brush and i feel this mask could of been super sticky so I really appreciated it.
I couldn’t smell cucumber but I defiantly smelt a fresh earthy smell which was refreshing.
Once applied I’ve got a half hour left of I’m a celeb!
It took 25 mins to dry and there was a bit that I piled on to much face mask that wouldn’t dry properly.
Easy peasy to peel off, although there was some bits I had to feel for before I could peel off!
My skin felt lovely going to bed felt clean, moisturised and Fresh.
The next day my skin still feels fresh, and my blemishes are very much less red and my skin is less inflamed.
I really like this mask as I defiantly can see and feel a difference. It’s easy to put on and peel of which is convenient .
5/5 for this one 😍
Today I am using Volcano clay mask by Garnier. This past is to minimise your pores.
How to use
- Wash face
- Apply mask
- Leave for 3 mins
- Wash off
Straight away, you feel the heat from the mask. It actually stings my spot on my nose, perhaps it’s an open spot? It smells like your typical clay mask.
I find it strange only leaving a mask on for 3 mins. I probably left it on for 4 mins in total.
My skin felt soft straight away. The next morning my pores do look minimised and my spots have dried out.
Today I have only done a short review. This is because the mask is a quick mask, which was perfect because I had a busy evening yesterday and needed some quick skin love. I personally didn’t like the heat side of the mask, but I feel that’s my personal judgement on this type of mask. The skin did improve my skin.
Do you like heating masks? I’d love to hear?
I love a massage! I love to unwind. Let’s face it although the gym is good for you, it can also take its toll on your body. Even sitting over your computer isn’t good for your neck.
I’ve had my fair share of massages from fancy hotels to Thai massages in Thailand.
Eco Spa is much more then just a place for a massage, it’s about the whole experience.
When you walk in the door, you are welcomed by wonderful Aromas. The receptionist welcomes you, and offers you a water or a herbal tea.
If it’s your first time, you are asked to fill out a form which gives you the opportunity to mention if you have any medical problems.
Once you have done that you are taken into the main massage room. Which again smells beautiful, always has relaxing music in the back ground. You have a short consultation, where they ask how you feel in body and mood. What pressure you like your massage at? If you have any specific tensions? This gives me peace of mind because I already know, that this lady knows how I like my massage.
I get undress and get under the warm bedding. Today’s massage was 30 mins, back neck and shoulder. She placed warm flannels on my back before we begin. I felt so relaxed but at the same time felt that my knots were removed. I love the feeling of them popping and feeling released after. It’s comforting that the lady checks that the pressure is okay. The massage goes very quickly as it’s so enjoyable. I can honestly say, that I have been here twice and have had the best massage.
After the massage is over, I was asked again if I wanted tea or water. I was then allowed to go to the meditation pods. The meditation pods are little rooms with pillows. They have mood lighting which you can change. A colouring book and some cute books to read. I am not the meditating time but I love sitting in here for ten mins after my massage to fully relax. I usually turn my phone off for these ten mins and just take some time to focus on me.
I would highly recommend this Spa. Today I has Elouise massage me and she was great. I even purchased some of the herbal tea as it’s so yummy. I can’t wait to book me next appointment.

For the award I nominate:
This week I am trying Super Drugs own brand masks. I decided to try the seaweed peel of mask.
This mask is said to cleanse and detox the skin. It is well known that seaweed is very beneficial for the skin. I also haven’t used a peel off mask in a while and I always feel nice and refreshed after using them.
This mask doesn’t smell as strong as some of the masks I have recently been using. It was really difficult to apply because it is super thick! If anyone has used the charcoal black head masks, it’s a similar constituency of that.
Once you work out a technique to put it on it’s easy after that. I use all of the contents and applied a
medium layer across my face.
It says it take 10-20 mins to dry. It took 20 – 25 mins to fully dry. Some parts didn’t dry properly, I feel they may have been areas where I over applied. It was really easy to take off, peeled straight off. Unlike the charcoal masks, it didn’t hurt or leave my face red raw. Instead it left me feeling cleansed and slightly moisturised as well.
I spent the remainder of my day with no make up on and two of my aggravated spots had noticeably become less red and had decreased in size.
I would give this mask a 4/5!
Have you used any of super drugs own branded face masks? I would love you to comment below! 👀
I’m always thinking of little way, to make a big difference to other people life’s. It’s a good feeling helping other people, and I’m sure it’s amazing for other people to be on the receiving end!
Coffee stamp cards ☕️☕️☕️
all love a coffee stamp card, 9 coffees later and you can finally have a free one! What a great achievement! It's feels amazing right getting something for nothing! Imagine how amazing it would be to give you free coffee to someone who is homeless, who is freezing from sleeping on the road. Why not give it to someone, who has nothing? You will honestly feel ten times more amazing!

Hobbies to fundraising📚⚽️🏒🤼♂️

Spend time with the Elderly 👵🏼
- The Elderly can get really lonely and look forward to social interaction. There are a few ways in which you can help. There is a charity called St Vincent to Paul, which is charity which involves volunteers visiting elderly people or helping them with small chores like their food shop! There is a club in Brighton called the casserole club. This charity pairs you up with someone Elderly in your area and you can choose to drop them dinner or have dinner with them. I know a few people that are involved with these charity’s and they say that it is so rewarding.
